Fourth Person
An Illustrated Children’s Book
Fourth Person begins with Travon Willis’ startling, world changing letter to The New York Times. In this fantastic letter Travon explains how he has discovered that there is a fourth writing style besides first person, second person and third person. This Fourth Person is the style that is responsible for errors in writing. He explains how the papers he writes for school are all perfectly written with no spelling or grammatical errors. He knows this for a fact as he as sometimes even reads them through twice for errors. Yet, when the papers are returned there are many mistakes. He tells how he has seen a shadowy form bending over his papers at night changing his perfect English. He tells the many ways he and his cousin Leshawn Jenkins have tried to prevent the Fourth Person from altering his papers, all to no avail.
The story is told in first person, second person, and third person. The reader will learn that there is an evil alliance of Second Person and Fourth Person called the League of Even. This evil league’s purpose is to prevent people from reaching their full potential by altering their papers while they sleep or giving them false directions. They are opposed by the League of Odd, composed of First Person and Third Person. The book culminates in the world shattering revelation of the League of Odd on how to defeat the League of Even, but sadly for the world their attempt to tell us is foiled. The book ends with a warning by Second Person on the dangers of disseminating the book.
